Romans 8:37
"Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through him who loved us. "
This is a passage that takes some inner contemplating. After all, it's hard to be a conqueror to begin with!
But, What does "being more than conqueror" mean? Ask a bunch of people and get a bunch of answers to that one!
I believe being more than a conqueror is having so much confidence that no matter what life throws at you, you know through Jesus that you can handle it. In fact, you know before you even face the problem, you're going to be victorious!
Because of this, we don't need to dread things. You don't have to fear the unknown. You don't have to live in anxiety about what's going to happen. It doesn't matter what the exact specifics are, you know you have Christ holding your hand. That means defeat is NOT an option!
Begin each day with this:
I can handle whatever life throws at me. I can do what ever is needed. I am MORE than a conqueror. I am equal to anything through HIM who lifts me up.
Do this before your fee hit the floor in the morning. Let these thoughts just roll over and over in your mind allowing confidence to skyrocket! You will soon believe with every fiber of your soul that you can do whatever needs to be done in your life.
Thinking then believing is the first step toward a new you. Wish won't work. Jealous is out of the question. Self-pity is a waste of time and energy. Discovering more about God through his own word is the beginning of complete reprieve.
This Week's Meditation:
Teach me to "be more than a conqueror."
Pray:
Help me to meditate each day:
I can handle whatever life throws at me. I can do what ever is needed. I am MORE than a conqueror. I am equal to anything through HIM who lifts me up.
Teach me to be patient and know you will mentor me.
Remind me that prayer motivates me.
Meditate on this for several minutes a day. Allow various thoughts to come into your mind. And realize God has you in his arms always.
