John 1:4
"But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over
those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who
lives in the world."
There are some days; like today, I wonder how I get into such predicaments.
After all, I don't ask for this type of luck to be laid at my door in the
morning. It seems that a giant wand waves it force with such energy that it
smacks you right in the face when you least expect it. Often, it's not something
I asked for or even envisioned. Being intelligent, you know there is nothing you
can do immediately to change things. All you can do is nuture yourself and know
you are in good hands. Another day is on the horizon and will boast a brighter
sunrise. Hold out till tomorrow.
I find comfort today in John's words. Just knowing there is a greater force out there controlling my destiny is a real solace. Placing what I have in God's hands solidifies my acceptance that I may not be the best indicator of the way things should go. Placing things in God's hands unleashes the burden on my own emotional well-being. Knowing that I am in good hands, allows me to nurture self-acceptance and acknowledge a great plan is at hand.
1. Think of yourself now. Take time to relax and regroup.
Look for inspiration. Go to: Birthday Bible Verse and look for an inspirational message. Mine is below.
Genesis 9:16 NIV
"Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."
2. Use search engines more. Try searching for something you're interested in trying. It could be a new hobby or a recipe for your family on Google . Make a new folder on your desktop. Begin adding information each time you find another link. This folder will remind you to take time for yourself each time
you open your desktop. We short change ourselves and often spread ourselves too
thin.
