1 Corinthians 13:6
"LOVE does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.”
We are in a tough time, Folks. With COVID-19 rambling through our very cities, it is time to realize that it will be the good hearts of certain individuals who will see us through.
Thank, God, for love. For without its very essence, we would be such forlorn individuals. Instead, God sends us angels in every city.
If you think something should be done about this muck, you are right.
There are so many tribulations at the moment. Starving children, 1.1 million people who have unclean drinking water, and individuals living on our streets. There all around us. Families who have gone to church with you for a few years and experienced a terrible tragedy. Yet, no one reaches out. Not even a phone call.
We see shootings at churches, and these same sanctuaries being burned down. Children in schools being abused along with their teachers. Do you believe someone should reach out to these injustices?
So, I wonder, what can you do? What are you going to do? Will you be the person who gets things done? It's so easy to find an excuse how we just can't be there. But in the end indifference makes an excuse, but love finds a way.
Keep your eyes peeled these next few weeks. Be a bit kinder when you're out there. People are scared and worried for their own families. Find out how you can bring love into this world. Remember if we take care of His business, which is helping those who are hurting and in need, i believe He will take care of us.
With all this happening, especially in your community, find a way you can help. Let go of all those panicky feelings. You may be called on to intervene, so muster up the needed energy to do so. And if you can't offer love. Everyone's going to need a little.
This Week's Meditation:
Teach me to "love others this week."
Pray:
Help me to meditate: where you need me.
Teach me to be patient and know my blessings will come.
Remind me that I need your help first.
Meditate on this for several minutes a day. Allow various thoughts to come into your mind. And realize God has you in his arms always.
