2 Corinthians 5:21
"For our sake he made Christ to be sin who knew no sin, so that in and through him we might become the righteousness of God. "
Know you are perfect already. Those simple self imperfections we note daily are not noticed by God. These are ideologies we bestow on ourselves without his blessing.
Knowing we are loved and accepted even if we feel we are not is such a relief! Serving God must be from desire not obligation. Knowing this should bring us great peace and joy in our lives. The Bible says that we love him because he first loved us (1 John 4:19). Knowing that we are assured of God's unconditional love should give us confidence and boldness not what our negative side is telling us.
Our confidence should not come from anyone but Jesus. Don't look to education, privilege, job status, attractiveness, gifts, talents, or people we know to build confidence. Everything in this world is shaky. We should not put our confidence in any of it. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrew 13.8). Knowing that means we can count on him to always be faithful and do what he tells us to do through the Bible. He will always love us. He claims we are righteous in his sight, and we need to make a decision to simply believe it.
We become what we believe we are. Thoughts are powerful. As we become more convinced we are right with God, our behavior will improve. We will do more things right with less effort. As we focus on our relationship with God rather than our performance; we relax, and what God has blessed us with works out in our souls, and finally in our daily life.
No matter what other people may have told you about yourself, God delights in telling you the truth in his Word. You are already right with him. You are loved, valuable, precious, talented, gifted, capable, powerful, wise, and redeemed.
Take a moment and claim this phrase, "I am loved, valuable, precious, talented, gifted, capable, powerful, wise, and redeemed." He has good planned for you! Get excited!. You are created in God's image and you are already amazing!
This Week's Meditation:
Teach me to "know I'm already valued."
Pray:
Help me to meditate each day: "I am loved, valuable, precious, talented, gifted, capable, powerful, wise, and redeemed."
Teach me to be patient and know you will mentor me. Remind me that prayer motivates me.
Meditate on this for several minutes a day. Allow various thoughts to come into your mind. And realize God has you in his arms always.
